Brian Bivens
Coach Bivens began his running career at Fountain Valley High School where he was voted captain, and won a Sunset League Championship. Later, he competed on 2 State Championship teams at Long Beach City College under legendary coaches Ron Allice and Jim Richardson. He ultimately ended his running career at USC. Later, Coach Bivens began coaching at Kennedy High School where he helped multiple sprint athletes qualify for the California State Championships, as well as set the Orange County Record in the 4x100 relay. He was voted Orange County Coach of the Year by the OC Register in 2005. Next, Coach Bivens was hired to work with the sprinters at Cerritos College where the team won the JC California State Championships in 2006. Since 2007, he has lead the Fountain Valley Barons to more than 40 league championships at the F/S, JV, and Varsity levels.
