Rob Martino
Rob Martino is a certified strength coach and personal trainer with a low back specialist certification. As a former competitive cyclist and power lifter, he has competed in the California state championships in both sports, while also playing football recreationally.
Coaching for nearly three decades, Rob has had the privilege of assisting athletes of all ages, from youth up to the professional level, working with teams and individuals. With a focus on the high school level, Rob has worked with athletes in over a dozen different sports including track & field, football, power lifting, basketball, baseball, softball, wrestling and tennis among others. Many of the individuals he has worked with have earned athletic scholarships, and many teams have earned league titles, including a football CIF division championship. He has worked in private facilities as well as high schools designing and implementing sports performance programs in the weight room and on the field, with a combined target of improving athleticism while reducing the chance for injury.
Fascinated by human performance, Rob continues to passionately pursue learning and applying concepts in strength, speed and conditioning, as well as injury prevention and rehab, in helping others reach, and even exceed, their goals while avoiding the many mistakes and pitfalls experienced in his own athletic pursuits.
